Morning.
Every morning. In that sleepy state of mind.... While the covers are still warm, and the sun is still rising, I find myself wondering...."Who am I going to be today?"
Me. Against the world. My beliefs, judgements, & intentions.
Yes, that girl. Who is she going to be?
Everyday is a lovely opportunity to make an impact. Everyday is the opportunity to shine.Everyday is the opportunity to pass on a smile, laugh, or long awaited apology.
& every single breath you take.....is the chance to prove yourself absolutely wonderful.
So I get up. Sun rising. Teeth brushing. Shower running. & I make a promise to myself.
"I promise not to judge today. I promise to live with good intentions. I promise to forgive those who never forgave me. I promise to love & love well. I promise to set my dreams far out of reach just to push myself. I promise to live by Jesus's name. I promise to understand that not everyone can understand me. I promise to be bold. I promise to make an attempt to make others smile. I promise to do EVERYTHING in my power to make today worth something."
You are worth it.
